Mine did the same - I suspect it is something to do with the fact the car detects the front wheels aren't moving and responds differently

it's really frustrating and if u go to a place that hasn't dynoed bms before they have no idea it seemed.

I didn't have dsc turned off tho so not sure if that helps but for me I was in manual shift and sport+. I imagine it would take some practice to get it just right before the kick down as if ur to cautious you could be not getting the Max out of the run.

also: is 5 or 6 the gear of preference with runs? I thought 6that is the 1:1??

I think most 6MT guys dyno in 5th,8AT dyno in 4th or 5th it makes little difference according to what I've seen him say. Also, it will vary some Dyno Operator or Tuner prefer a certain gear.

Automatic gear ratios – IV/V/VI1.67 / 1.29 / 1.00

So would you recommend 4th or 5th?

If its just 3 or 4 pulls do 5th gear first and try the next one in 4th to see if any difference on that dyno. Also, depending on Tune it could make more or less on the different gear.
For 1hr+ Dyno pulls, 4th is better cuz u heat soak less.

Btw, read over your thread and makes no sense DSC OFF + Shifter to left like others have said then driving slowly as you reach 30-35mph shift up to M4 should Dyno operator should start WOT at 2500rpm and let it redline 6900-7k

Makes sense. And sorry but i dont really get that last part. Traction was off. It was in manual mode. And the dyno operator took it to 5th and mashed it. But it kicked me down to third and spun lmao

The dyno guy recommended 4th gear for me but you're right, on a 6spd the 5th gear is 1:1. Does that mean my numbers are inflated?

Your numbers are probably lower than that, you can give it a shot in 5th gear.

So i ended up going somewhere else to dyno. And they actually got it right haha. The first 2 pulls were on the enzo map. And the last 2 on the stock map for comparison. Ended up with 398whp!!

Torque is low because for whatever reason, the plot didn't report torque in the lower rpms. As we all know, these cars make their bigger torque numbers on the lower end (~2000-4500rpms).
