Car has been sold. I want to thank the community for the interest in the car as well as to a particular set of guys that have helped me modify this car into something very special by expressing their knowledge and experience on the forum. Although I don't post much I do ready plenty.
On to an M3 ZCP but to date I have never loved a car as much as my modded m235i. Farewell.

Couldn't wait for the M3 so I picked up a 1M in the mean time. Got the M3 ZCP about two weeks ago. Love the M3 especially as a DD but I think I found my soul mate in the 1M. That recent car and driver article is crap. All these cars are excellent and each has its different personality. I know for a fact the one driving my m235 is loving it as we speak. Cheers.

I was at Fields in Winter Park yesterday and they had a sold, white 1M on the floor......Yours?????

Would you part out the lip?

I bought my 1M in texas. Picked up a black one.
As for the lip, I sold the car as is modifications and all. The lip was from RW carbon. They have multiple lips now, this was not the largest but the second largest. Fit was good but not great but it did look excellent. Something like 550 dollars.
