What did you do to your 2 series today?

It would be hard not to go for an M2, were a convertible version available.

But BMW didn't give me that choice. I had a convertible E46 M3 and of course they made other convertible Ms. Not sure why they are withholding the M2 convertible. I guess they want it to appear more hardcore than it really is. Porsche doesn't seem to have that problem...

That's a good price for an installed LSD. As you've noted elsewhere, a built diff from a pro diff builder is likely to be a fair amount more. For that extra cost, of course, you can spec it to be just about whatever you need it to be.

Any idea on what the rebuild interval is likely to be on the M Performance unit?

Yes I did. Took about 2 minutes to take the grilles out and 45 mins to wrap each one

Thank you. I used Vvivid dry carbon, and had never wrapped anything before. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos. It is not difficult, just very time consuming. The door handle took probably a half hour or so to wrap.

Yes, seems quite different. Where you have the flat surface, mine has a well with a removable wide container, with closable top, almost an ash tray, but larger/deeper. The new rubber mat sits into that area.

OEM exhaust mod stage 1 and 2 complete. Buttoning it up tomorrow and reinstall an the car. Vids to follow.

I'm $8 in so far. My father in law is going to TIG it shut for free.
