Oh boy... As 2020 would have it, I had xPel XR Ceramic Tint installed yesterday (20%)... AND the installer nicked both my door panels!!! Commitment to fix or replace and make good, but not meeting to discuss in person until Monday. Is a certified xPel installer, so I'm sure this will be resolved to my satisfaction. Will update... But anyways!

I went to Apex's Black Friday sale for a set of ARC-8 18X9 ET42 front wheels. Apex's BF discount on flow-formed wheels is 15%. These are replacements for ARC-8 17X9 ET42s, which no longer fit since I installed an M Performance Brake Kit with 370mm front rotors. I'll continue running ARC-8 18X9.5 ET58s with 5mm spacers in the rear.

I also ordered Michelin Pilot Sport 4S' in 255/35-18 from Tire Rack for both the front and the rear. Michelin currently has a $120 rebate on purchases of $800+.

The wife is going to be really impressed that after spending another $1,595 on this car I "saved" a total of $214.20. (I've probably only got another $5K to go.)

I've experienced the frustration from when these things happen – please let us know how this turns out.

I put my first 100 mile trip on the car! Top down with my Bride onboard, temps in the low 50's. Still good vert weather.

I bought mine CPO so there's no telling what the original owner experienced. However, my only issues so far were a squeaky clock spring and a rattling exhaust. The BMW dealership did a software update that actually resolved the exhaust rattle and they replaced the clock spring. Nothing major so far!

Our mineral white M240i is 1 year old this
month, and surely the “protectant” applied
at delivery is long gone, so I gave him a
good wash, tar & bug spot-clean with a bit
of fingernail help, clay bar, wipe down, then
Meguiar’s M21 sealant. It’s too dark to take
pics now.
It looks great and ready to endure Winter’s
onslaught.

New here, first post!

Took advantage of the warmer weather and cleaned it up, inside and out! Feeling like new again!

Looking forward to no longer being a lurker, and maybe actually having an opportunity or two to be a contributor to this forum I’ve been gaining a wealth of knowledge from for so long!

Quick cell phone pic doesn’t do it justice.

Thanks! Hopefully soon, I've completed a few SCCA events, but would love to join the BMWCCA. Do you have a member ID you can provide so I can reference you?

Color matched front lip REALLY looks great! Only way that one looks right, otherwise what's left is a goofy "smile" that kills the look of the front end IMHO,
Well done!

Garage List
Removed my summer wheels and tires and put on the winter shoes today. We're supposed to get rain and some snow flurries tomorrow so it was time. Also cleaned the inside and outside. Think I'll just drive my truck tomorrow so my BMW can stay clean in the garage an extra day.

Installed the Eton B100XCN center speaker. I had been running with the center speaker disconnected for about 3 years. I much prefer the sound running a quality center channel speaker. Gives the music more depth, IMO. The stock center channel speakers were terrible.

Appreciate it! I'm back and forth on what I like when I see the black vs. color match. I do like how the color match makes it look more like it came from the factory that way!
