Anyone think that the headlights should be bigger or wider (something like the 6-Series) and the kidney grilles should be rectangular instead of what they did used? Other than that, looks like a BMW. Time to start saving my pennies! Also, hard to say until fully uncovered but those tailights remind me a lot of the ones on the current Civic...

agreed. the connecting of the headlights to the grills on the f30 just never did it for me. it looked forced. the 2 series has that part down much better.

definitely looks better than the e82 (and i own an e82). not ashamed to admit it.

however - the n20 plus electric steering plus all the other new electronics bmw is putting in this generation of cars (e.g. standard idrive, adaptive suspension, etc) is a turnoff in my opinion.

Anyone want to photoshop it black so it can further haunt my dreams?
The M2 should be amazing, good job BMW.

Yes, yes and hell yes. All of a sudden (well not really that sudden), I'm beginning to be more interested in an M235i/M2 than the M4.

Wow...looks great. Proportions much better than F30/F32. Never liked the F30 anyways.

Now is it possible they put a NA inline 6 in the M2, make a killer no nonsense track car. That way it won't step on the toes of the M4? I know dreaming. But it just seems odd they would put in a turbo 4, when the M235i has turbo 6.

Most likely drop weight on the M2, LSD, refined M suspension, wider fenders, and tweak the M235i powerplant for some more hp.

That model list in the article has a footnote which says it may not be comprehensive.

I don't think its final. For BMW's sake I hope its not final. I swear I will picket showrooms if it is.

Do you mean a tad bit taller? Yeah, maybe a little. They do look a little on the narrow side. But that was probably out of reaction to the negative comments of the F20.

I think the front resembles that E46 couple LCI but I could be wrong.. back fender looks too much like the F30; boring.. They had to make it a little girly -_-but I think we have a winner here

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Yes. I'm happy about the shape, but from the camo shots, it looked like they were taller/thicker and seemed to fit the shape more. Regardless, it should still be a looker in person.

This car sounds just too damn perfect can't stop looking at these pics had my mind dead set on ordering a 435i M in July I passed on the 135i last august knowing the 4 was coming. Thing is F32= bigger than e92 and this M235i is perfect size, won't cost as much, will be faster and overall much more sporty. Only thing that the 4 series still has to it's advantage is the certainty of a tech package being offered but if the M235i comes with HUD as an option I might have to wait it out a few more months although it seems like i've already been waiting forever
