Get some good blades, I found some random Dewalt and Milwaukee clearance deals at local Home Depot/ Lowes stores. The ones supplied with the saw are mediocre at best.
I've found the Milwaukee "Axe" blade to be one of the best on the market. They are expensive but they are worth the extra $$$ IMO.

Those are the best. Damn redwood tree roots killed one this weekend, but w/o it I'd probably still be out there.

Follow up on my post a few days ago. Finally got the new Amcrest PoE cam up. Electrician's snakes are God's gift to oversize old farts like me who can't easily crawl around in attics. The snake made wiring this up a piece of cake.

New high back chair for tailgating that’s very oversized, even for me.

It was finally time for a new laptop. My 12-year old 17" Toshiba is finally being laid to rest.

That's a long time. My MacBook from 2014 is still going strong.

I've got a MacBook Pro mid-2012 and it has decided lately that it will just shut down whenever it wants. It always starts right back up when I hit the power button and it reopens whatever page(s) I was on but it is annoying when I'm watching something on YouTube. Other than that it's been great.

Maybe that's a sign you need to upgrade.

PS - I turn mine off often and give it lots of breaks.

My 2020 iMac has been doing the same thing since the last update. I wonder if the update screwed something up.

I haven't been able to update mine (too old) for a while so pretty sure Buug959 can't update his either since it's older than mine.

Yeah, my 2012 laptop that is my garage machine is frozen in time now. But I hear some folks have found away around the embargo on updates for older machines.

I'll use mine till it breaks. Then I'll buy a new one.

Garage List
I also had an older Macbook Pro from 2016. My issue was the battery life wasn't cutting it. Old one would not last through an entire 3.5 hour baseball game doing emails and correcting mistaken people on social media across the internet.

So I bought the new 14" Macbook Pro with their M1 chip. OK yeah the thing is fast but honestly I didn't need that. The battery is excellent. I've watched two games using it already and have no doubt I can do a third. Also got a case for it.

My daily laptop is a 13" MBP with the M1. The difference in weight between it and my 2012 MBP is amazing. And the M1 is so quiet. Never a fan whir even when cranking in Photoshop. Stays much cooler as well.

The M-processors are crazy efficient and fast, hard to fathom in comparison to the previous Intel options.

With Apple's processor naming convention (M1 & M2), they might have a M3 and M4 someday!

Guess I got something to look forward to. Maybe for my birthday or Christmas one year when my old MacBook Pro bites the dust. ☠️

Fiskar 32" Titanium Lopper. This thing could probably cut locks. It certainly has no problem with tree branches.

Fiskars are my brand too. Just bought new shears for cutting my roses.

Had the old ones for about 30 years. That's how long they last.

Picked (pun intended) up this Milwaukee pick set yesterday. I was in Napa to "pick" up another tool that I had ordered in and while waiting for the young lady to bring it out I saw these and they were on sale. My old set has very tiny handles and I'm starting to find them hard to grip. These new ones should be much better. (Image stolen from the web thingy)
