I have a CJ with the 304 and 3spd. Renegade version that had all the best options at the time. Hate the thing and wish I could sell it. But it's been in the wife's family since new so I'm stuck keeping it. I've driven it maybe 200-300 miles in the last 10+ years, wife won't drive it. I even paid for a restoration of it thinking I would use it but never do. Main reason is its exhaust burns my eyes. I've thought about getting cats put on to see if it would help. It's gone up in value so much I think the wife is close to letting it go.

Like you said older jeep parts are cheap. Easy to work on as well. I drive pickups all week long so I think that kills the fun for me.

Time to clear some brush around the edges of the yard. The Ryobi 4H 40V battery is a beast.

I’ve been using my Ryobi 40V around the house for a couple years or so now. It’s been excellent. Power head with weed eater, shrub trimmer, edger, and blower attachments. (Don’t bother with with blower attachment). Standalone leaf blower and chainsaw, too. They’ve been fantastic. Be sure to have two batteries on hand. I can typically weed eat, edge, and blow on one battery, but there have been some bigger projects that would have been frustrating had I not had a charged back up.

Side note. Don’t bother with gas Ryobi. Super finicky and unreliable. I splurged the extra coin on my Ryobi pressure washer to get the one with a Honda motor and wayyy better.

Family situation apparently dictated that the Mrs and I obtain another vehicle. While not the best time to buy, nor the Porsche I wanted...this will be in the garage come tomorrow afternoon.

Originally ordered (what I consider British Racing) Green and planned for a 45 day wait, but the deal on this one fell through with the original buyer yesterday morning. It's Matterhorn (Matte) White with a blue interior. 2023 Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige. Not overly ecstatic with the wheels, but they'll be easier to clean that the ones on the RDX.

So, this is the new dog hauler.

I have 4H 40v and a 6H 40V, plus a half dozen 18V One+ batteries (for the chainsaw). I could have ordered the 40V chainsaw, but I really don't have much to cut except some bush stalks that are all 1" or less. I've been impressed with the brush cutter attachment. It plows through a lot. I also bought a hedge trimmer on a pole earlier. That also works well. Next up is the snow thrower attachment, or maybe a dedicated snowthrower.

Awesome purchase! The Hyundai N products are super fun, you can really tell that Albert Biernann's spirit still lives on in those cars, congrats!

Very pretty Genesis, congrats! Definitely my top pick of the class, got any interior photos?

Upgrading the home NAS from four 1TB drives to four 12TB. Hopefully these last as long as the previous ones that have been spinning since 2014! These will be set up in a RAID5 config.
