mini detail today/hate windows

I did a mini-detail, about 3 hours, very tiring,
but one thing I hate doing is windows, anyone else ?

Anyone have any preference for a good and easy prod ?

In the UK, I used to use an autoglym product, which went on wet but dried to a white powder, was really easy and got off everything without smearing

dont really like these class cleaners (using invisible glass) goes on wet and you have to work to clean the product off

any thoughts ??

I use Invisible Glass as well so can't help with that, but the best thing to make cleaning interior windows easier is a wand tool. I have one like this, though not this exact one.

The trick thats worked for me is the two towel method. You can use it in conjunction with the wand mentioned above:

1) Work product into window (Invisible glass sprayed liberally onto the towel works for me)
2) Buff dry with waffle weave towel

I should use MF to apply and WW to dry ?
are WW also good at drying the car after a plush towel ?

I've used them on paint in the past but they're best used for glass.

For paint I do a similar process where the plush towel is used as a first pass with drying aid, then I come back with a soft microfiber (no preference) to remove any streaking.

Waffle weave makes for a great drying towel, as do the super plush ones.

The best glass microfibers have very little nap/almost smooth.

Sprayway glass cleaner (an aerosol) is used by many glass professionals & can be found at Home Depot & Lowes.

I make my own glass cleaner:
- 60% water
- 20% alcohol
- 20% distilled white vinegar
8 to 10 drops of Dawn Ultra in a 2l bottle. Shake well. Zero streaking.
