Another will they fit thread for 245f/255r

Hello,

I currently have OEM wheels (225/40/18 , 245/35/18 719m jet black)

I plan to upgrade to lighter and wider wheels. I've been reading several threads in the forum and more or less I have an idea of the recommended setup but as I have modified my car, I would like to contrast the information in case there is someone with a similar setup.

I would like to run 245/35/18 and 255/35/18. I've found that Bola wheels are quite popular in some forums and I like the design + weight. Here my questions:

- From some posts, someone explained that for clearance, the wheel width is not very relevant (e.g. 8" vs 8.5") using the same ET, because the tyre width is more important, as it's what usually rubs fender/strut. I initially was searching for staggered 8" front, 8.5" rear thinking that would make any difference, but Bola doesn't offer them in the FL series (FLC 8,5", FLE 8"). So as I plan to run 255 rear, I would need 8,5" both front and rear.

- There is another alternative that I liked, Japan Racing SL01that could be 8"/8.5" but only in ET40 front, ET 42 rear (which maybe would be too much).

- My current suspension setup is Bilstein B14 + M4 LCA and TS (around 2º front camber, 1º 45' rear camber). Car is lowered a bit more rear, I would say there is around 10mm from tallest point of the tyre to the rear fender. Front there is a bit more space.

- From other posts, the general recommendation would be:

Front 8.5" ET 40 245/35/18

Rear 8.5" ET 45 255/35/18 (this would be like 3.5 mm taller)

Here some pictures of my current setup.

Front strut clearance (front left wheel from different angles). Around 10/12 mm.

Front fender clearance:

Rear fender clearance:

Do you think it will fit without rubbing? Would 8" make any difference front?

Thank you in advance!

Around 10/12 mm between rim and strut (right now is the nearest point.
