Anyone changed from 225/40 to 225/45

Hi,

Will need new tires soon and was wondering if I can add some sidewall and go staggered from 225/40 and 245/35 > 225/45 and 245/40 without causing problems (beside the speedo being off).

In addition any ideas getting the rolling radius F>R closer to 1:1? Options:
1) fit 225 in the rear (too big for the 8 inch stock wheel)
2) fit 235 F and R (too big for the front 7.5 inch stock wheel)
3) use 225 F and R > how much traction would I actually loose? Enough to notice on the street (have x-drive which would kick in)?
