Squeaking sound

So, I have noticed on some occasion on and off when I entered the car a squeaking sound. I have tried bouncing up and down in the car and couldn't reproduce it. Today I realized the sound come if I push the car to the side. It doesn't sound too bad that would make me worried, just wanted to know if others had heard it too and its normal?

R U hearing it when u go to sit down in the car ? if it's a squeal when your weight hits the seat it could be the emergency brake.

I think I read that a few times a years, use the emergency brake to slow the car to a stop from a speed of about 5mph (?) to burnish corrosion of the surfaces.

+1 for emergency brake. Nothing to worry about.

I'm not saying it is or isn't this... you may need a friend to help troubleshoot the location of the squeak.

I had to replace the spring perch to hub bushing on my e90 and it went away.

Similar drawing to ours... #3 as well

Recommended to try some soapy water on just that bushing and see if it goes away temporarily.

What was the solution? I’ve had a sound more like chirping seems to be coming from the back. I tought it was the bushing #3 as well . I have a 2017 m240i convertible . I can’t seem to find the issue . I added grease to all the bushings but noise persist. I can’t reproduce the sound by moving the suspension. Any help appreciated

I stop chasing it, over time it become white noise. No longer notice it, I wish I didnt come back to this thread, I might hear it again now lol.

On a separate note.. new squeak which might be from my suspension came up... I hear it whenever the car is coming down from going over a bump or whenever it went on a slope or a dip unevenly... More like creaking.. urgh
