Passenger Door Window Issue

Hi, I have been working on my car with passenger door open (M240i) and had the battery disconnected for a short time. I reconnected the battery and now the window will not go up that last as it normally does. As you all know when the door is opened normally the window goes down about an inch or so and then when it is closed it normally goes back up that inch or so. Mine will not currently do that. I have to close the open window from the inside after I shut the door. Any advice/thoughts would be appreciated.
