M performance diff

Can anyone confirm if this is what the m performance diff looks like? I'm buying it from a part out wanted to make sure it indeed is the m performance limited slip.

That looks like an open diff, it certainly isn't the M-Performance Drexler plate LSD.

Only if it has the original sticker on the top of the diff with the part number 33-10-8-659-987 (also 33-10-7-555-610 is an earlier version) for the manual transmission and 33-10-8-659-989 for the automatic.

I thought the 989 was for the m240? And the 987/610 were for the m235 in both auto/manual

987/610 have 3.08 ratio for M235i or M240i manual transmission and does also seem to be for M235i auto, 989 has 2.81 ratio for automatic transmission, for M240i
