I downloaded BimmerCode from iTunes. I then purchased the software to actually do the coding. I've always backed up my iPhone to my home computer, and not the cloud. My iPhone died so I bought an identical replacement, an iPhone 7. I reloaded all of the apps including BimmerCode. However, the actually coding software was not loaded onto my new iPhone? Does anyone know how I can recover it, or re-download it for free?

Update: I emailed the company and restoring the purchase just requires clicking on “restore full version.”

I was in same situation. It should be attached to the Apple ID you use.

just go into the Bimmercode app and instead of purchasing it again, you can restore it. it is linked to your account so restoring is easy from any phone that is connected to your account

I have a question that's sort of related. I know you can restore and get bimmercode on a new phone without having to pay again, but what happens to your backups? How would you go about transferring those?

I had issue with my Apple ID and the Bimmer code purchase that can not restore the purchase.

Both Apple and Bimmercode have no solution for me, even no way to buy Bimmercode again.
Now I have to use it through TestFlight.
