Flagrant wrist shot in the M240Xi after a drive on some snowy MD/DC area roads this weekend while wearing an Alpina Alpiner 4 Automatic.

Subscribed. Saw a similar thread in the M3/M4 photos forum and enjoyed it. I only have some cheap automatics (Orient, Hamilton, etc.), but no pics in the 2er. Maybe when the weather gets nice I'll be able to contribute. Don't be shy folks!

Hamilton isn't "cheap" by any means. Yeah, they're owned by the Swatch group, but they still put out some very respectable Swiss Automatics. I still wish they were an American owned company, but quartz killed a lot of those companies decades ago. At least they were given a second life. Looking forward to seeing some of the member photos to come. Send it!

Here's the Seiko "Cocktail Time" SRPB43.
I'll cycle through my humble collection and post pictures as I wear them! EDIT:I'll try to find a way to fix the pic later.

I'll sign for my car in a few weeks and post then. I have a few German watches to match up with it.

Nice, a throw-back to days when I used to frequent the WRUW daily threads on Watchuseek.
Kinda stop wearing "watches" ever since I got my Apple Watch a year ago. Had been rotating between the Seiko SKX007, a Hamilton Khaki, and an Explorer. Wanted to wear two watches but was told that would look retarded. Recently, I've been lusting over the Tudor GMT and a Stowa Flieger. But what's the point if I'll never get to wear them. Kinda wish Apple Watch has a take-a-day-off function to allow me to stop wearing it occasionally without losing my daily streaks of goals achieved. I would have worn it on my wedding day if I had to to keep my streaks, but fortunately that happened before I got the watch. |

M2C and Glashutte Original Panomatic Lunar
A German watch for a German car. I may have to sneak in a watch pic or two while in a 3-series to mix it up a bit but I promise no pics while in the wife's VW!

I like them with one exception: thickness. Hopefully they move in the direction as overall size trends seem to be reversing themselves from 50mm Invictas.

I know Breitling isn't a fan favorite but I like my Chronomat 44 in blackeye blue.

Wow. Thread finally gained some steam, and I missed it. Was away for a while. Love the submissions so far. To each his own! Just nice to see some watch fans, regardless of your brand preferences.

Wow, rude. It is a circle-jerky trope, but one that we're knowingly participating in while on a car forum.
