I checked mine yesterday and all four seemed tightly fitted after 1,500 miles. I was wondering if it's a production issue, which got corrected after certain date. The production date of my car was mid April. Maybe ppl who lost at least of the caps could update their production dates and see if there's a pattern?

I just lost one of mine yesterday Front left tire. It was in my drive way and my gf ran it over. So i know its not from driving fast. I am going to contact dealership tomorrow and see if they will replace free of charge. I walked into my garage and immediately noticed it was missing. Stuck out like a sore thumb. Checked the driveway and there it was

Mine was born December 10th - ish and I have now lost two. Both from the front left wheel. God it pisses me off.
This second time, my buddy had an idea to use something called Liquid Nails on a few do the tabs before clicking the replacement cap into the wheel. So far so good... There has to be some fire here though, because I've owned 4 other BMWs and never replaced one of these. Ever.

This is my 5th BMW and I've never even heard of people having this kind of problem. I haven't lost one yet, thankfully. I keep checking though based on all these reports - I have a 228i with Style 385 wheels, production 6/2014.

I just took all my wheels of the clean them and to put some anti-sieze on the hubs. The center caps on the rear are not bad but the front wheels seemed too easy to cone out.

Hmmm can't really find a correlation to production date to those that lost theirs. I'll be using some kind of clear liquid solution to make it stay on but not too sticky that it can't come off when needed.
