First rule of good writing: obscure abbreviations are a a red flag of prickery.

Aaaah, I used to do that with my Fit all the time with very little effect, but no need for it on the 2 yet in three years of ownership.

I find WOT technically accurate to the point of being boring. I like the old bike term WFO - Wailing Flat-Out - somehow, I think that better describes what WOT feels like.

Sorry. It's an engineer thing. It would be considered an acronym as well. What's an abbreviation? And who still writes?

The basic social function of acronyms is to show that you are in the know, a member of an in-group, but WTF.

I have to wholeheartedly agree with this statement.
I feel like giving myself the one finger salute for the way I have been forced to drive this little muscle car.

Its way to easy to get into "go to jail" territory if you are not watchful of the speedometer.
Yes! With all that power and acceleration, I've become a BMW prick! The car is rock stable at high speeds and I found myself at 120mph on a freeway with out realizing it, while evading an SUV that was deliberately trying to pass me in order to block me.

This site is full of abbreviations and acronyms and it's maddening at times. Would be nice if someone would start a post of what they mean. But as to "WOT", I presume it to mean Wide Open Throttle.
