I’m woefully under-prepped for STX, but had I stayed for the afternoon session and been able to repeat that time, I would have been first in class. None of the 86’s showed up for some reason.

And I met a 1-series owner also in the Novice class and a couple m235i owners running in the F-Street class.

It was a pretty good day...and now I’m tempted to spend way too much money on Re71-R’s.
Good job. My first time out with the M240 will be in two weeks. Already have the RE71's. I have been running a Suby swap in SM for years. Looking forward to the FS pax.

Installed some EL wiring around my radio trim because I missed it from my other BMW's. I sprayed it with a tinting product so it is a lot more inconspicuous during the day plus it actually matches the orange lighting better. I'm happy with the result and plan to do the doors as well. Look for my DIY in the DIY section.

Way better, don't feel the bumps as hard with the RF. Still in stock rims which 2 are bent so I'm having a slight vibration. Will get the new rims next week which it will shave around 3lbs ea from the stockies ....

Then I should have a way better feel ...

Finally replaced my OEM rear camera with an HD camera from Amazon. I am not going to lie, it was a bit of a pain in the a$$, but I am glad I did it.

Now to figure out how to code off the OEM so the malfunction stops being displayed every time I use reverse.

Not to sure about the offset but the fronts are 8.5 x 19 on 245/35/19 and the rears are 9.5 x 19 on 255/30/19.

I bought them for a local shop here in Toronto.

How does traction feel; which did you get btw?
I assume you have a square 225/40 setup? Are you gonna keep it or stagger em? I am on rfts now and thinking of what to do when they die.

Since I found out when I switch to non RF that the wheels were bent I ordered a set of 18x8 so I'm keeping the square set up with the 225/40.

Just waiting to the end of the months to get them install ... can't wait

They are Matte Graphite. A bit darker than gunmetal and matte finish. I'm not a bit fan of black on black either, but these have a nice contrast. You can see it a bit better in these:

Those would look great on my Sunset orange 240i. I have been doing all matte/satin trim on the body so it would match well.... *quietly steals idea... lol.

Yes, this is from E92 - 6-pistons and 338x26mm rotors.
Requires 17-inch or larger wheels.

Finally installed the AA Exhaust by myself after getting quoted $300 from a Performance shop and didn't trust the muffler shops around here.

Shed around 10lbs and supposedly gain around 9 RWHP ... that OEM exhaust weighs a ton.

Daytime high temperatures are now in the 70s here, so I took the winters off and put the MPSS tires on.

My first track event this year is in six weeks at Mid-Ohio - it's time to take the car out and shake the rust off.
