FINALLY got the MHI N20 big turbo installed.

The mechanic that installed the new turbo said it was good choice for stock replacement for my fubar unit. There is still a soft bottom end that has us scratching our head (no codes or other issues found). It's better than better than the old and busted unit, but a bit of lag. It appears to pull all the way to redline where to old unit pooped out around 5500rpm.

I have a MAD intake tube and Dinan Sport tuner left to install.

Congrats, the styling has really grown on me. It’s undeniable how capable the new M2 is, both handling and power wise. Keep reporting back.

Same for me. When BMW initially released specs and photos I didn't know what to think but now I love the looks, especially in BSM. I'm still getting used to all the different settings in the car. I'm 450 miles into the 1200 mile break in period so hopefully within a month I will get the service done. Then I will be able to properly rip on the car and see what it's all about.

New exhaust tips and JB+

Great build quality on these BMS tips. JB+ and a new AFE air filter added some pep.

I installed the Bimmertech Comfort Access kit. Now I can get in just like a boss.
Tips:
Seat the door harness pins ALL the way into the socket.
Have a variety of pick tools for the door handles, wire clips, and fishing wires
Carefully pack the 2000 wires back into the footwell. They fit, but barely.

Installed these galvanic style overlay button covers for the traction control/drive mode/park assist buttons on the lower centre console. Matches with the rest of the silver elements of my interior.

Boost leak? Perhaps even a slightly slower spool if it’s bigger.

Running Indy 500s and they’re narrower than expected so I could probably go 235 in front and 265 rear without camber.. will go that route for my next set of tires. Even with rear springs only, the car has way less roll in the turns and just grips so much better than my stock setup. And not to mention it just looks sexy. Super satisfied!!
Yes sir, I ran similar wheel spec with 235 front and 265 rear on dinan spring. You might have to drop spacers on rear to like 5mm ish or maybe 7mm if there is any available. I might have small rubbing on hard turn on the rear on the inside.

I realise this is way late in replying (new to the forum - lots of catching to do), but what wheels are those please? Satin or matt black by the look of them? They look similar to Romac Radium or VMR V710?

Thanks..

Thinking about going 245 front and staying 255 rear. You running 235 on 8.5 et38 fronts?

Welcome to the forums. Those wheels were Apex EC-7's in satin black that were on my previous M240i.

I got my 1200 mile break in service completed this week and have been able to finally floor the car in lower gears and rev past 6K. It's such a different power delivery than my B58 M240i. The B58 feels like it has more low to mid range grunt but power dissipates more quickly on the top end. The S58 doesn't feel like it throws you back in your seat as much in the lower revs but just keeps building power on the top end.

I have an appt setup in a couple weeks to get PPF and window tint done. I need to figure out my front license plate strategy as I'm legally supposed to display one in the front but I really don't want too. Wheel spacers are on the list for this spring/summer and dialing in the stance with the height adjustable suspension.

Today I collected my very first BMW - a very modest 218d so probably not going anywhere near a track day haha. No pics yet, but it's black and asking for new grilles and alloys...

Hey, I see you have the convertible. I wonder if the wheel well clearance is the same as the coupe. I want the Dinan springs too but I'm concerned I may get rubbing. I have the VMR 8.5 x 18s front et 45 and 10mm spacer. Never rubs unless theres an extreme dip in the road at 55mph+. Its very slight if at all. And 9.5 x 265 rear et 52 I think and 5mm spacer. No issues. I have .8° to .9° front neg camber and 1.7° rear. Did the springs improve cornering speeds and body roll much for you?

Look at https://stonsho.com/
I never put my front plate on, just carry it around in the trunk. If you don't see one for your car, reach out to Mike and he will make one from the measurements you supply.
