Thumbs up BM3 n20 stage 2 tune

Hey guys , i'm new here
I recently tuned my 14 228i using bm3 stage 1 tune and it works great without any issue, my car is full stock. However, i am looking into the stage 2 where the recommend spec says i need a high flow downpipe and a upgraded intercooler,
so im wondering if i tune my car to stage 2 but keep it all stock spec, will it damage my car?
Thanks!!!!!

Without an intercooler and downpipe, even if you target higher boost you wont make more power. IAT will increase dramatically and the ECU will cut power.

Also with higher boost and stock downpipe, you will put a lot of pressure on your turbo which might damage it.

Run stage 1 on a stock car and once you are FBO (charge pipe, downpipe and intercooler) run stage 2.
The additional maps for stage 2 are recommended for a good reason
