Price drop, $25,400. Arguably one of the cleanest/well maintained 2 series out there!

Open to reasonable offers, once you have seen the car and driven it.

Real nice car, GLWS. You did not mention [as far as I can see] that your car has sports seats. The first thing most of us want to know is the transmission and does car have sport seats/suspension.

Thanks for the tip, this is a valid point! I will add this to my ads on Kijiji/Facebook as well. Finding it hard to sell...perhaps people don't want Manual anymore?? or perhaps offseason?

Sad but true! This car literally feels and looks brand new, I can garantee no other 2 series on the market is this clean and maintained this well.

I fail to see why someone would buy this vs a m235i at this price point. If it was low km's or something then maybe, but especially with the warranty about to expire, dropping 30k on a 4 year old base model car is borderline mental

Don't let the badge fool you, the 228i is a very balanced car with plenty of power to boot. There is an article that describes how the 228i is more fun to drive on a track than the 235 as the power is much more predictable with the lighter weight making it more nimble. Of course the M2 is a different beast as it's got the suspension to match. If you haven't driven one, I'd recommend taking a spin even if it isn't your cup of tea.

This car is also cared for extremely well, fully optioned out , manual and has the wanted Estoril Blue paint, which is harder to find.

On a final note: car is now sold for asking price with 2 other offers declined at 22k and 23k

Yes, as evidenced by his sale, his original posting price of 26.8k was a little steep. He did mention he received asking (which isn't really asking when you keep dropping your price, but alas), however, I found his listing on KijijiAutos after his response about his successful sale with his car STILL listed for under 25k (he hadn't removed it at the time, it's gone now). By my calculations, NOT my 'personal, ill-informed opinions', he could not complete his sale at his original valuation, which is what I was referring to with my post.


If you think that common sense in regards to the valuation of a vehicle (bmw's are not special) can be "ill-informed", then I have quite the pill for you my friend. It's really quite healthy, high in irony! I do recommend.
