Question: I have the side stickers as well. Does the side blade attach over the sticker? I was wondering if the adhesive from the blade is touching the sticker or the cars paint.
Hi yes the 3m tape on the blade will be touching the sticker, the sticker wraps round underneath the blade, so gives nice neat finish.

putting on the second blade only took me 45 mins so its simple job if your careful and keep doing dry fits half pushing in the plastic fixers to check you have everything in line still.

its funny there is another bmw forum called babybmw.net, there are 2 guys on there with the old e82 bmws and they are basically slating my car saying the M Performance sticker look chav and pathetic and should be removed, everyone whos seen my car seems to think it looks good but these kids clearly not..maybe its because they are english (yes im english too) English people seem to like to put others down when jealous, i find americans tend to be more more positive and friendly and this forum seems like its full of less silly boys...just an interesting observation this eve

Where in the States is a good place to purchase these blades? The few online places that I know of that sell BMW accessories seem to have most everything but the blades listed on their websites.

^^^ That middle pic is an excellent angle to see the shape of the blade. Especially for me since I also have the stickers.

Sun Auto has a great price on the blades. The prices dropped big time very recently.

I just ordered the whole M Perm aero package from them.

Front
Rear
Side blades
Side skirt decals

$970 shipped if I remember right. Should be in this week

Our cars will look very similar

I'm going to do my side blades white though. I will post some pics once it's complete. I will do it myself as well except for wrapping the side blades in white.

Finished my aero package install Friday. I did it a little different than the OP. I stuck the blade on with the double sided tape and drilled/plugged in one step.

Very nice, I think it looks great with the blades painted AW with the M Perf decals. They compliment each other and contrast very well.

Like it like it. looks so much more aggressive with the MP kit on. I get so many comments on my car when out in it or people i know see it and say wow looks great. I was gonna go white with the blades i think it looks good but in the end stuck with black all round.....at least others considering it now have both our cars to look at and decide which way to go...thats good thing about forums.

I must admit i considered sticking the thing on first then drilling once stuck. its a quick DIY job either way...and enjoyable to do and stand back after.

I finally had time to do my blades today. One thing I don't think was mentioned is that two of the plugs on each side are shorter because of the tighter space between the plastic rocker panel and the metal structure underneath. If you count from the front it's the #5 and #6 plugs.

The job is pretty straightforward, especially if you have a helper.

Glad to help. It was your original post that made me brave enough to attempt this DIY! Thanks a lot!
