Just the one I posted of idle and a few 5k revs but nothing moving, I have no way to do that.

Nope, it was warm. Never had an issue with cold starts though.

I can do a cold start without the DP...not sure if that would help. She fires up @ 1k and then settles in at 700 or so almost immediately.

That'll be good to see.. the difference

My car with DP (Stock)fires up to 1100-1200rpm for a good 20-30seconds then settles to 770rpm slowly. With the flash it stays at 880-900 the whole time.

Going to post a video when I get home.

Well, I was wrong. Cold start sounds just like my post. Idle is at 700-800 or so and never changes sound. I'm now thinking this was due to the tune. It's just one of those things you never really look at much.

Shipping ER FMIC back as the issue with fitment has now been resolved. I'm stuck with the polished CP as that didn't have an issue so no return.

Thanks for sharing all the invaluable info OP! Any thoughts or plans on ever adding a ERIC catted DP (best of both worlds)?

The project is complete! Several things have changed since the original plan, including several drives up the East Coast to see the crew.

First thing, the Magnificent DP that was built for me had to go, nothing to do with the quality or experience as I'll explain later, but the DP combined with the AA Signature Exhaust was just too much! It was always in your face, and this is a cab so by the 4th day I had already had enough! It saddens me that I have lost that primeval belch that arose from the outlets, but now I have peace of mind when I decide to drop the top, spank some good jazz and just tune out the world. The lesson here is that you can't have both, but I tried.

Secondly, we had to remove the ER FMIC. Master Mechanic Frank discussed the removal of the front lower support brace due to the size of the IC when I picked up the car, but the exhaust note was so intoxicating, I wasn't hearing what he was saying. That brace is there for a reason as it connects/supports the front lower bumper to the skid plate below the engine...couldn't imaging what would happen if you had a front end collision without that brace.

I'm having some issues with the company that I purchased this from and have been handed off to ER for some reason. Here is a pic of the FMIC and you can see that it extends well beyond the bottom support bracket:

Here is how it looked installed and you can see no support brace:

Here is a pic of the OEM unit with the support brace:

Now for the fun stuff, I have the averages of multiple runs before and after the DP & FMIC, and they did make a difference:

DP, FMIC & AA Exhaust:
0-60 ~ 5.4
1/4 Mile ~ 13.9 @ 100mph

ECU and AA Exhaust:
0-60 ~ 5.5
1/4 Mile ~ 14.2 @ 98mph

The car "feels" like it pulls harder with the stock DP & FMIC. Enzo himself thought so also and the turbo nose-over was gone, but the numbers don't lie. Additionally, Enzo couldn't make three attempts with the oem DP & FMIC as the car just kept loosing power during back-2-back-2-back runs. This was not a problem with the Enzo Performance DP and ER FMIC, the car just kept pulling!!!

Final words have to do with Gas mileage. Having made several 400+ mile round trips, with all the goodies on I-95 I averaged 26.4 mpg @ 80mph cruise. Without the DP and FMIC I averaged 28.7 for the same circuit.

That's all I have for now, but I would really like to say thanks to the crew , they are the best!

Nope. I'm of a different mold than most in that I'm not looking for a street burner nor do I have any aspirations of the drag strip outside of just having fun.

With a cab, the DP was just too loud and all the fumes just rolled right into the cab. Smell was rough, not to mention what it does to the planet. It was one of those things that I'm glad I tried because now I know the difference first hand. The sound of an open DP is intoxicating, but again too loud for my purposes. Spending $1k to have a sport catted DP makes no sense to me, but for some it may.

I have the Ambient Thermal Management FMIC and it fits great. I didn't have to take any structure out to fit it in. Getting it in with the ER charge pipes is a bit more difficult than with the stock flexible plastic/rubber ones, but I managed to get it all in with a bit of maneuvering and a tiny wipe of silicone grease.

Also I installed the GFB DV+ kit which helped with the lag issue you also had with a larger FMIC.

The larger heat exchange area of the Bigger FMIC gives more charge cooling and better intake temps, and resists heat soak at higher boost, but with the older DV it did add a bit more lag. With the DV+ in fast acting setup it helps keep more air in the FMIC when the DV opens. It also closes faster, so it's ready earlier for the next boost build. So it goes a long way to bring the lag back down.

I also originally got the ER Catless DP, but it was too loud for me and also parking in my building garage the exhaust smell was a bit too much. So I had my local tig welding guru split the DP along one of its seems and install a 200 cell high flow cat brick that I got out of a new 3" Cat from magnaflow. High flow Maganaflow cat cost me $90 and welding was $65. All in all a great result. The welds are so clean you can't even tell it was worked on. And the DP works brilliantly, great high flow, less noise and no smell!

Just an update that came to light yesterday, the coupes don't have the lower brace so the FMIC's fit without issue, all the cab's have the support brace and cause issues. Compared several coupes and cab's at the dealership and then it dawned on me! Why is every car i own so hard to mod....
