I think there is a lot more education needed in the U.S. market and we need to demonstrate more successes publicly. Momentum is building. We are building an N20 with a beefed up bottom end and we'll be going after some world records for the 228. Hopefully that will elevate awareness. We're also wrapping up the Stage 3 tune with upgrade turbos from Pure Turbos so that will help to get our name out there and show people what we can do.

Nick...
Mmmmmmm beefed up bottom end internals... Me like!

Now you just have to find the Autotrans torque limit so I can buy all this stuff off you guys!

I'd be down to go to stage 3 with pure turbo. Assuming internal upgrades and AT torque limit flash...

Just got my stage 1 done. Wow! It's like a whole new car.
Have to meet the girlfriend at Disneyland so it was a quick 2 mile test. (GSR is just down the street).

I have the M235i MPE and I can't hear it over the turbo. Reminds me of the external wastegate I had on my previous car. I'll create a new thread with some vids soon.

Just got my stage 2 w/e85 fuel flash done and ohhhh boy I have to say it feels great! It drives so smooth around town even in sport plus mode. The powerbound feels so much nicer and smoother when compared to the JB4. Haven't had a chance to drive the car more than 50 miles but I will be doing a writeup as soon as I get some free time.

sorry in advance for the newbie question, but how is it justifiable to have 2 different prices on such a tune ?
i mean, harware is similar it's just a software and i can't get my head around the 300$ premium for my m235i with that in mind...
am i alone in the clouds...

Will this tune support e85? If so can I use pure e85 or have to use mixture?

We are currently testing alternative fuels but we're not ready to release anything publicly just yet.

The main difference is that GSRAutosport is on the West Coast and EnzoPerformance is on the East Coast. Outside of that, they both are ECU tunes that don't require any piggyback cables.

But seems GSR said they found a torque limit but Enzo didn't ?

Both are running below the 350 torque limit that was floating around as an issue. GSRAutosport has revised their initial Stage 1 tune to compensate for this, and EnzoPerformance has never run into this issue.

I believe GSRAutosport had a much "hotter" tune to begin with.

Thanks for those useful Infos! Since Enzo has group buy now the price seems better

A dyno doesn't risk factory warranty, but an ECU Flash will throw it out the window! That is why many folks go with the piggyback solution hoping they can sneak it through, although in reality if the dealership looks at the logs, they will see the over-boost anyway!

You know what I meant, heh. Would like to see the dyno graphs and 1/4 times to determine if it's worth losing my factory warranty over it.

Actually, I guess I didn't understand what you were after. For me, I wanted a little more torque as I drive the heavier cab. I knew I would never use the extra power from the 235 and as such didn't think it was worth the money for a DD.

The tune keeps boost mild enough that I don't have to worry about blowing out the internals while giving me the added "pull" of the 235. I have no idea what my 1/4 time would be and I really don't care, cab's are not track cars. Sorry if I misunderstood what you were after, just trying to help!

Do what I did .. get the piggyback that makes more sense to your needs.
Play it for a while and see how it likes your car.
If your dealer is mod-friendly then you can seek out more fun.
Do you lease or finance?
You won't lose your warranty per-say with piggyback or flash, unless you have an issue (warranty related) and they can prove it was caused by such modification.

If piggyback is not your style, choose your favorite tuner as OpenAir suggested
