I'm interested as soon as this is ready! Who wants my M performance exhaust?

I'm going to buy this as well. Especially if you can clamp it on and be able to switch it out if you need to.

Whoever is debating on the delete has to do it....sounds aggressive and good for 150$. The auto transmission is not really suited for an exhaust, gears change way too fast. Sound of it is one continuous note with no pause in between

Has anyone experienced a vibration in the car with the muffler delete? I just got it done to my car and there's an obvious vibration happening around 2-2.5 RPM.

Got some drone do yah? That's just something you may have to just deal with. There's always a trade off.

The vibration only occurs on certain gears when accelerating which is minor drone. other than that its pretty smooth

The small but critical challenge is the factory exhaust pipe is metric and of course the primarily U.S. suppliers do not sell metric sizes - at least not at a cost effective price. The comparable standard size is slightly larger so initial testing was not perfect with clamp/band we configured. Just a little bit more work and we should have it nailed.

Nick...
Was this product ever made? If not, is there still a plan to make it?

Just did a muffler delete a week ago, it sucks to be honest would not recommended it. I'm going to put in an m235i performance exhaust and see if that helps with the exhaust tone

Try putting on resonated tips. Think that's what the others did on this post. I can't justify the price they want for the M perf "exhaust" (muffler). You can probably get a custom catback done for that price.

I done muffler delete.

Got a big resonator put in and its killed abit of the drone, still abit of drone in 2-2.5k range... which is expected for a bloody 8gear car

If you keep it in manual you can control it... But overall it's alot better than stock.

Any pics of your setup? Did you just put on a generic muffler?

Had a custom exhaust made connecting a magnaflow straight through muffler with ECS tuning tips. Not super loud, and best of all, no drone whatsoever.

What size inlet and outlet for the piping? 2 1/4? I was thinking of doing a race muffler from Magnaflow or Kooks and deleting the resonator.

Was it 3" from the stock piping or did the 3" slip over the stock piping and then welded to that?
