Any chance you could post a video of full acceleration from the outside? Thanks

I told you its not that loud. The vid below is by e36m3lol. He did a resonator/cat delete as well, so his is louder than mine.

How different would this sound to a M performance exhaust?

I did a Muffler Delete on Monday this week. All I have to say is that is it definitely different. Makes tunnels very fun and sounds really cool at WOT above 3500 rpm.

I actually finished watching the 15min video, that crackling sound... I'm sold! definitely going ahead with the muffler deletion. this is going to void warranty and right?

With the MT I don't even hear anything on a 50+ mph cruise.

It's most noticeable in city driving thru 2/3rd gear. Even coupled with the injen intake cabin noise with windows up is very low.

I stand by my original sentiment that it's the best/ cheap mod I did to my car. It sounds mean on idle and rev blips. Refined on cruise. Aggressive on wot runs. Especially now with my jb4 pushing more boost.

that's awesome to hear! m235i owners have the same experience still? not sure if there would be any difference (drone wise) between 4 cylinder and 6. I have a m235 and it seems like a no brainer from reading..

The 6 cly. sounds even better than the 4 with a muffler delete... its less of a no brainer with a 235.

I still like mine. I'm sure my neighbors don't at about 5:45 in the morning though. The only time that it is obnoxious is on cold start, other than that it is pretty nice to listen to.

We are working to get our muffler delete product for the x28 cars to market as quickly as possible. We want to make it so you can cut the exhaust and then use a high quality clamp so you can switch back and forth between stock and muffler delete pipe. The small but critical challenge is the factory exhaust pipe is metric and of course the primarily U.S. suppliers do not sell metric sizes - at least not at a cost effective price. The comparable standard size is slightly larger so initial testing was not perfect with clamp/band we configured. Just a little bit more work and we should have it nailed.
