i thought i saw a mic looking thing under the hood on passenger side but i looked up the part number and its actually part of the hvac system to monitor oxygen levels.

I recently installed the ASD harness (install was super easy since the new one is true PnP), and also noticed a decrease in volume. I have to crank the volume up a little higher (to around 75%) to achieve what used to be 60%. Not a deal breaker, though. Just my 2¢.

I guess the harness does that to the sound but Bimmercode doesn't affect it in any way.
