2020 Order Guide

See 2020 ordering guide attached.

Seaside Blue. Does anyone have a side-by-side image comparing Seaside Blue vs Estoril?

719 Wheels. New color appears to be available (Cerium Grey). Any opinions on this new color vs the "bi-color" alternative?

If I'm getting this right, for M240i, Melbourne Red gone, Long Beach Blue in; aluminum with Estoril trim out, carbon fiber trim in; Cerium Gray wheels in; smoke tail lights in. Pretty minimal changes. Re-design for 2021?

Actually, I that's an orbit grey. This M340i is sporting the cerium grey bi-color I believe. I like!

The aluminum with Estoril trim is still available as the "standard for the M240i; from the order sheet:

4WF Aluminum Hexagon Trim with Estoril Blue matte highlight

You're right. That is orbit rather than cerium. They seem close.

It will be interesting to see if the carbon fiber trim is the same carbon fiber trim in the M2.So many color options for the 2 series compared to the M2.I’m still disappointed that they didn’t offer Estoril Blue for the M2.It would have looked great.Who will be the first forum member to order a Long Beach Blue M240i.

I ordered Estoril for my 2020 M240i. If they had offered San Marino, the choice would have been more difficult.

Thanks for posting the order guide. Stupid question here, does the "x" mean that it is available for that model?

I'm looking to spec out a m240i. Coming from a 2016 m235 with plain dakota leather color options for seats. Does anybody have pics or know what the following upholstery options look like with the new MY2020 m240?

1. LCL3: Black dakota leather with red highlight and stitching
2. LCL5: Coral red dakota leather with black highlight
3. LCLZ: Leather dakota black exclusive stitching

Yes, "X" means available. An empty space = not available. The black with red stitching does not appear to be available for the M240i.

I am also coming out of a 2016 M235i. My 2020 M240i is now "on the water" making its way to the west coast. I've had both leather and sensatac (previously called leathertte). Sensatac holds up much better and is a better match for the rest of the interior. This car will have sensatac.

Still no word on the port-installed options.

MerlinMc, thanks for posting the 2020 order guide! Do you happen to have the 2020 convertible order guide as well? Thinking of ordering one and just want to see if they've kept the manual option for the M240i

I didn't get a convertible guide though every US dealer should have this by now. I doubt they eliminated the manual option for the convert.

with the 2020 m240i, based on the pdf the only package you can buy is that premium package ZPP, as the ZMP is already there, the ZCV convenience package is also already there.

With the NAV standalone infated price at $1700 and the ZPP set at $2500, who wouldnt play into their hands and just get the ZPP.

I do have a question, is the NAV and I-drive the new one 7.0?

I think you have to get ZPP to get Apple Car Play as well

BMW USA finally have the 2020 models in the configurator. Here is what the ZPP option says about the NAV and iDrive:

Navigation with iDrive 5.0 technology equips your BMW with an 8.8", high-resolution display. The display provides vivid images, and permits multiple image options, including 3-D mapping and multiple perspective views. It allows the driver to select a "Split Screen" option, for simultaneous viewing of the Navigation map while viewing and selecting other items within the various iDrive menus and sub-menus. The iDrive touchpad can be used to "pinch zoom" the viewing area on the iDrive display within the interactive maps.

BMW M Performance Limited Slip Differential

BMW USA finally has the 2020 2 series in their build configurator.

While the LSD doesn't seem to appear in the order guide, it does appear under options. It's not available as a port-installed option (see my other post with port-installed options). Irritating.

May the part and and get it installed separately.

2020 End of Production?

Thanks for posting the 2020 F22 Pricing Guide. I was looking all over the internet before looking in the obvious place...here. Even after the recent update of the BMWUSA configurator, it is still all messed up when I try to build a 230iX with ZMP and ZTR, which the Pricing Guide allows.

Anyone know when the End of Production for MY2020 occurs and the final F22 MY2021 starts?

It is messed up. The order guide shows no LSD. After I ordered my 2020 and after the VIN was assigned, the configurator was updated to show LSD as an option. Very unhappy I was not able to order.

I am unable to find the LSD option on the BMWUSA 2er configurator. All I can spot under "Performance Options" is the choice of manual transmission. Am I looking in the wrong place?

They must have "re-updated" the configurator and removed the LSD option. Or maybe it is the configurator webmaster who is occasionally dipping into the LSD supply. Like they say, BMWs are a trip...

Hi Merlin, when did you place your order and when did it arrive? Trying to see what the lead times are like right now, likely placing my order within a month. Thanks.
