There is a small mileage credit (up to $300) given when you are over a certain amount of unused miles on a lease return.

Can confirm, got the $250 credit for being below miles a few months ago.

Never knew this, will make sure to make use of it if I end up being significantly under.

M240i Lease Deals

Hi folks,

I am looking to lease a M240i and get a European Delivery as well. I have been learning about the lease process and it appears that all the lease parameters are currently not too much in my favor...

I was quoted a base price of $41,875 for the M240i (RWD) without options. As far as options are concerned I'm only thinking of getting the premium package and parking sensors.
I was offered a MF of 0.00182 with a residual of *52%* on 3 yrs/12K miles. Two dealerships have separately told me there's an 'upcharge' of 0.0003 on the MF for European Delivery.
Really hoping the residuals get better with new guidance coming out April 3rd. Any suggestions on how to sweeten the lease deal? I'm a current BMW owner and was told I can't get a loyalty discount if I do ED...

In terms of time-frame I'm hoping to have the car picked up from Munich in the 3rd week of June. With the few dealerships I talked to I'm not too late in placing the order but I need to pull the trigger within 2 weeks at most.

Any suggestions would be welcome!

There is a residual upcharge for ED. No incentives available for ED except BMW CCA rebate.

Looking to lease a 2020 m240i. Not a lot of 6mt near me but I'm ok with holding out for a good deal. Can anyone weigh in on if they think this is a good deal?

More room to negotiate here? We've been talking for a couple weeks now. The last thing to get removed from the balance was a "Desert Protection Package" (window tint and whatever) and "Kahu" (some vehicle tracking package). Balance is nearing 5% off MSRP

thanks for your input

May not help, but I had a 2020 240i locked at $8.5K ($3K rebate) off sticker plus loyalty. My out the door was only 45K, with 5K down, payment was the same as your lease.

Not even a 3% discount before rebate ? AT least 7% plus rebate IMO. I'd shoot for 10% in these times.

Sure sure its only a lease, but you might keep it after. Hammer out 10% + rebate, and buy it...almost same monthly. (your sticker $1k higher than mine)

Acquisition fee is $1k ? holy crap is that normal there ? Ours like $300-500.

Cheers and good luck

Currently, 9k miles over my mile allowance and still have to drive it for another 4 months. I attempted to switch the 2 series for an M340i, but BMW wanted me to pay the remaining payments; in addition to the mileage overage.

Moral of the story is don't lease a 2 series, by now I should own the bitch because of how much I have spent on tires and being over the miles.

I have a new car on order which should be at the dealership in the next few weeks. I will most likely lease it so curious what kind of money factor I should expect for someone with excellent credit? right now they are quoting me 3.36%. is it reasonable for me to expect them to do better than this?

I think money factor is currently .00099, they typically mark it up to .00119

Keep this alive

I am happy with my lease and more than happy with the car. I am considering buying car at the end. It will have low miles and I don’t see anything that replaces it for my needs. Anyone bought the end of lease lately? Deals incentives etc going on ?

Lease buyout

I’m in the same situation with five months remaining on my lease. I am interested in buying the car but would like to get the best deal possible if possible. I have read that incentives are sometimes offered but not until the final three months of the lease. Any information or advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
