trunk opening
I recall reading somewhere here that there is an option to opening the trunk by waving your foot under the bumper. When I picked my car up one of the sales guys tried it and it didn't work. I figured it was probably since he didn't have the fob, but I've tried it a couple of times since and can't get it to work. I also didn't see any mention of it in the manual. Anybody know if this is indeed a feature? It would come in handy when I am walking back to my car carrying my golf clubs.

Thanks, I do have Premium/Comfort Access. Sounds like another thing I need to ask about. My Compass wasn't on when I picked up my car, and thought that was something else the 2 didn't have until I read the manual last night. Got that working now though!

well i was wrong.... if you look at comfort access on the m235 bmw configurator it shows up as a feature
"Offers convenient keyless access to your vehicle by carrying the remote key in a pocket or purse. Unlock doors by touching the handle and hands-free trunk-lid opening with this convenience option." |
