228i, M performance brakes worth it?

I have a 228i with the M sport package. Of course, it doesn't come with M sport brakes, because BMW.

Is it worthwhile to upgrade from the stock (gray) brakes to the M performance brakes? I'm unable to find comparisons of the two setups, such as braking distance.

Of course, the M performance brakes are much more aesthetically pleasing, but it is is difficult to justify the cost just for bling.

Does the car see the track often?

If so, then yes....for the simple reason that it's easy to swap pads at the track.

If no, it depends on if you just want "the look"...???

I doubt that it makes sense if you have to buy the parts from BMW, but if you can find an M235i owner who has upgraded his brakes to the Performance Brake Package or another brake upgrade package, it makes a lot more economic sense. I sold my MSport brakes from my M235i on here a few months back since I had the dealer install the Performance Brake kit prior to delivery. Most of the responses I had were from 228i owners living overseas, so shipping was high since they are heavy (around 90 lbs., if I recall correctly).
