2017 BMW M240i F22 Brakes(rotors and pads)
I need rear brake pads and rotors and was wondering if anyone had any advice for the best kits to pick. I currently have two that I have been looking at.
The first is a brembo kit https://www.brembostoreusa.com/produ...or-kit/KT00376 The second is an akebono kit https://bimmers.com/product/akebono-euro/BM4119896KIT Was just wondering about past experiences anyone has had with either brands and if you would recommend one over the other. I’ve heard good about both brands. Thanks |

Your car has a 2pc alu hat rotor. You want that one. FPC has zimmerman with dimples.
I really like performance friction "Z" pads. Consider stainless brake lines while you are in there. |

I ended up going with some brembos. Not the ones I posted in my original post but a different set I found on bimmers.com. They’re slotted and drilled and I think they’ll be great.
