If I get one, I will sell it to you after a year. Just going to cost you a few G's over what I paid😉

yeah that engine note will make any imperfection a lost though on a cold start.

doesn't look too bad. side profile gives heavy camino vibes.

lucky sons of bitches who get their hands on one. going to be a PITA to buy one second hand just the same.

maybe the list will thin out a bit with high interest rates and the cost of gas ? alot can change in someones life in a year too (kids, job, etc). i could see the list thinning out a bit as time goes on. but who knows

From the sounds of it, even if 60% people
Bail, still be a huge wait. Time will tell

Doubt it.

Even if people had lost interest due to long waits or other financial priorities will stay on the list just because you can literally flip the car for probably double the MSRP.

There are rumors that production might start in summer (august) which means those allocated for a '23 MY could still be getting their cars into next spring/summer of 2023. I am due for a 1st MY and now i don't even know if i'll get the car this fall. I kinda don't want to take delivery in the middle of winter because it makes no sense but then again when my number is called, i don't want to pass it for a postpone date of spring '23 because we don't know what will happen from now til then. So if i have to take delivery when it's snowing, so be it. I want this car. Because it's everything i've dreamt of.

An NA powerhouse that sounds like a ferrari. I couldn't afford a 458 back then. Although i could get a used one now but i rather get something even better (yes the LT6 is better than the engine in the 458), and i'll have a fresh warranty.

This will be the very first time a corvette will be ultra rare lol.

Gotta love GM!

If the C8Z wasn't the car i wanted it to be, i actually would be in the market for a used 458.

I'm glad GM gave us their version of it. I don't really want any forced induction on my next vette.

I've not liked Corvettes in over a decade, but this style is pretty darn sick. If I had enough money to buy two nice cars, I'd strongly consider this. The price range is crazy, though. Starting at $60k and maxing out at $120k, that's too many options!

I would disagree with this. The more options cars like these have the better as it allows people to make them their own. Which is no different then how Porsche treats their line up. It gives a lower starting price for individuals who don't want much but gives plenty of space for others who want more.

I'm going to guess it'll be 2024 before you can order the Z06 at MSRP with a reasonable build time.

10%+ inflation by the end of the year might lead to some cancellations.

Agreed.

An expanded option list could help bring the MSRP on the z06 down a bit.

Because not many buy stripper z06's. Or stripper corvettes in general. A lot of owners load them up with options to "make it their own", so GM could profit off that and give others who do buy stripper cars a chance to own an amazing piece of engineering right at MSRP.

I'm getting a stripper z06 btw lol. All i want is the front lift. I don't need the Z07 package with all that aero, even though it looks amazing. I don't need that aero slowing me down lol

Meh. Lol. I want every option other than the wheels. They will be changed out right away for aftermarket anyway. Again, if I hit the lotto and get one

A fully loaded Z06 is expected to cost around 140-150 lol. Good luck. That's base ZR1 pricing.

The car looks fucking incredible stock. I do agree on the wheels. Although not the styling. But the offsets. GM always put shitty ass offsets on their corvettes. That's one of the first mods i did to my C7Z. Aftermarket wheels but most importantly, better offsets. Totally changed the look of the car.

I'll probably do the same again with the C8Z. But i need that front end lift. That's a game changer.
