How much camber can I expect with lowering springs (Eibach 20mm) and LCA+TS?
I’d also like to fit 235/40/18 on 8 inch wheels. Can anyone comment if this will work? |

I could stay with the 225 but i plan to install 265 at the rear and i'm afraid to get a loss of balance. |

Getting closer and closer to getting the LCA + TS done finally. Any chance anyone here is running MSS springs (if not, any sort of drop)? I have the 18" stock staggered 719m wheels with PSS (non RFT). Since the LCA + TS pushes the front wheels out a bit, I was wondering about spacers. I assume the rear is in desperate need (aesthetically) since the front is pushed out quite a bit.

I've read this whole thread and others, but can't seem to find a definitive answer as to whether this wheel/tire combo will rub (or not), with the OE springs/struts and the ///M LCA & TS:
18x8.5 ET40 wheels with 235/40 Michelin (A/S 3+ or PS4S) tires Will this wheel/tire combo rub? If not, how about 18x8.5 ET40 wheels with 235/35 Michelin (A/S 3+ or PS4S) tires? Thanks in advance to anyone that has either of these combos and can confirm.

Just a quick one since I got a bit lost on who installed the parts on which kind of car, sorry for that.
Does the fender rubbing occur on the F3x series as well or only on the F2x? Thanks

225/35 R19 LCA + TS upgrade
Hi all,
I’ve been deciding whether to pull the trigger on this upgrade along with the LSD from BMW, and was undecided on whether to do just the LCA or LCA + TS. Now I’m starting to get concerned about wheel clearance for my OEM rims on 225/35 R19s. Car is stock otherwise. I’m unable to source the BMW wheel number, but it’s this one: OW86138 on https://www.originalwheels.com/bmw-w...5i2016rims.php Rubbing Issues notwithstanding, does the TS upgrade make the ride noticeably harsher than just the LCA? I had a 350z many many years ago and whilst the steering feedback was impressive I eventually couldn’t live the uncompromising nature of the beast. I HATE knocks/rattles or any compromise on refinement when it comes to upgrades, and have noted some comments relating to this: any info would be appreciated. I don’t want to drop serious coin and make the car feel cheaper. If this all gets thrown into the too hard basket I may just spring for a M2 having had the M235 for only 4 months now. I was pleasantly surprised by the duality of the 2, having not really considered it a legitimate option after the uncompromising nature of the Z. Any insight appreciated. Thanks. |

Adaptive suspension with LCA/TS M4 upgrade
M4 LCA /TS sourced AUD700 cheaper than BMW, & LSD lined up. Assurances given that rubbing won’t be an issue or any increase in NVH, but one last important question. I know the M2 doesn’t come with adaptive dampeners, so if I replace the LCA & TS, do I lose this feature? M4’s were available with a M adaptive system as an option.

Went with the BMW ones. Keeps its pseudo-standard for selling if I go that route in the future.
Brand new M2 Comp pulled up at the servo today...hmmm....you only live once.....but jeez...is it 2.5 times the car I have now..? |

I had a test drive with the M2 Comp . This is seriously fun to drive. If it just came as a convertible...

Just picked up the car from BMW after getting the LSD and Control Arms fitted. OMG. I thought it was communicative before... its bordering on clairvoyant now. Steering is heavier (different drive settings dont seem to have an effect), but the feedback from the front eclipses my old Mk7 GTI.
The LSD: three roundabouts (following run-in instructions), were sublime. Whereas the eLSD is binary, this is progressive. A rather expensive upgrade, but a lot cheaper than swopping out for an M2. Highly highly recommended. And you even get some cool camber too.... |

I just found this:
Superpro LCA and TS using M4 parts as a base with adjustable caster. Aloy0030K https://superprousa.com/products/alo...-alloy-arm-kit No spacer needed apparently and has caster adjustment. Sadly it doesn't help me much as I literally just ordered lemforder bits. Side note: With M4 LCA/TS what does the collective figure on offset for an 8X18 with a 235 tire? Stock ride height? I have 8x35 with 225 and like the amount of poke. Cheers Last edited by MyM235i; 11-11-2020 at 07:51 PM.. Reason: I apparently can not spell |

M2, M3, M4 LCA and TS are identical.
The advantage of these TS that you are able to increase the gap to the front. Is this what you are after?

I was just letting people know there is another option. The Superpro have adjustable camber, sealed heim vs bushing and do not need spacers. I ordered Lemforder and have to find a Canadian distributor for spacers. Shipping costs more than the spacers from Summit! |

Although you got already your set, why don't you ask them if they sell the TS seperatly. Your LC is the same.

Because I am happy to use the Lemforder units.
Like I said, I was just adding an alternative I had found to the collective knowledge base for the car. The Superpro TS is adjustable and no spacers needed. The LCA as you pointed out is a wash as it appears to be the same. The only question I had asked was in regard to wheel fitment with LCA/TS. Want to go 8x18 with a 235 tire. Cheers |
