splash screen on all analog gauge cluster?
Hi!
New 2016 M235i convertible owner here. My car has very few options, and the gauge cluster is all analog (meaning fuel and mpg gauges have physical needles, not LED/LCD displays. When the center display on the Instrument cluster starts up, it displays a hideous BMW text logo flying over a grid. I honestly don't remember if it did that before I started playing with bimmerocde, but I have not been able to change it to mperformance, etc. My IC does NOT have the wider digital display that permanently displays the car logo. So some questions for other owners: a) does your car have the "4 needle" all analog cluster? b) if so, does it display anything other than the "BMW over grid" opening screen? c) if if displays m performance or M235i AND your answer to question 1 was "yes", do you know how it got coded that way? Thanks, Dave |

That's the thing I DID code it (with BimmerCode), and it did not change it.
I have not seen any other references to an M235i with 4 analog needles. Most of the pics I see have the right gauge inset digital, while mine is an analog MPG gauge. I'm wondering if at some point the instrument cluster was replaced with one from a 228. |
