No none at all. I have 3mm spacers on the front to clear the struts. I had dinan springs before that and again it was absolutely fine.

Wow really? That's awesome what wheels are you using? Any noticeable difference vs the stock 225s?

They're O.Z. Hyper GT HLT from Tire Rack. The tires are humble General G-Max RS summer tires, and they definite ride less harsh than the stock runflats. Their stickiness means I'm noticing more body roll now, so after they wear out I might replace with high performance all seasons. I only got 'em mounted yesterday so I haven't had quite enough time to fully form my opinions about that, but I love those wheels.

Yeah those are the exact ones I was going to get (wheels) same size. This is the tire I will prob go with. Unfortunately/fortunately the car came with tire/wheel insurance. So I'm guessing I'm stuck with the fn stock wheels and runflats. Supposedly I can switch to a wheel of the same size but the stocks are 18 7.5 and I want the ozs in the 18 8

You can put the stock tires on those wheels. TireRack recommends that size for the 8" wheel. I just like a meatier look so I went with the 235s.

How are those wheels during winter/ how are they if they hit potholes strength wise?

I have two sets, one for winter and one for summer.

Winter setup: Alutec Drive 18x8 43mm offset with 235/40/18 Michelin Pilot Alpine PA4

Summer Setup: VMR V804 18 x 8 42mm offset with 245/35/18 Michelin Pilot Supersports.

No other mods, no fitment or rubbing issues at all

Pat

I only got them last month and they're going to be my summer set, so I can't answer with any certainty, but they'd probably be alright.
