I did not go deep enough. There were several more options recommended that I did not have active. I don't remember what I started with so I don't know if all of these are needed or not, or if it even matters.

Office Menu Active makes sense to have active.
I only have one microphone in cabin so not sure about mic number.
Bluetooth 2nd Hand Free Phone, I want that active.
Two phones parallel is probably part of pairing two phones, so active.
Contact book pictures, sure.
Curious to know what the PIM_NEW_ELEMENT values do, SMS is not active by default.

We will have to wait and see if this works though because I was using an older VGate adapter and I was getting write errors and then I got an error in the headunit that bimmercode wanted to restore but couldn't write back over my adapter. So, I got another adapter on order.

I was able to recover the head unit with Bimmercode when I got a new adapter.
Lost my navigation activation in the process, though.

I have an office menu and messages in iDrive, now. What was recommended in this thread helped and worked. It is not working as expected but that might be by design. I want to receive new messages while I am driving so I don't have to fish my phone out of my pocket while driving. I might try some different settings to see if I can get new alerts and not just a sync.

I did. It is. I realized that it's not a standalone menu item (at least on mine). Messages, emails, tasks and all appeared below bmw messages after I re-paired the phone. Let me know if it's not supposed to be this way.
There was one coding line for WLAN Diagnostics that was shown aktiv but on your coding list not aktiv. I did not disable it. Any ideas what it does?

So does doing this solve being able to receive navigation directions from the ConnectedDrive app on the phone? I can use all of the other features on the CD app like unlock/lock doors, horn, locate car, etc, but cannot get the car to receive directions from the app. I also do not have the Office menu/I have option 6NH and not 6NS.
