Weird stop button behavior

So normally when I park the car I push the start/stop button once to stop the engine, and then push it a second time to turn off the ignition/electronics.

Every once in a while, pushing the button the second time just starts the engine again (no, not touching the brake pedal). Yesterday it did it several times, I stopped the engine, then pushed the button and it started again, then pushed and it stopped, then pushed and it started. Took me several tries to actually turn everything off.

I know if I just stop the engine and leave and lock the car it should eventually turn everything off on its own, but I'd rather not do that. Anyone else have this problem, or any ideas what it might be?

Shouldn't start anyway if your foot's off the brake.
