Reliability
I've found a 2014 m235i with 79,000 miles and a 6-speed transmission. No mods and optioned how I would do it new. If this was my only car would reliability be an issue, what should I look for on service records?

okay, I'm fine with typical maintenance and expect things to let go like sensors, just wondering if the car generation has any large quirks or repairs that would be time-consuming and extremely expensive

probably apart from charge pipe, water pump, overflow coolant take pipe, all the assorted gaskets... oil filter housing, valve cover and oil pan ones...

Make sure to have the trans checked out. Had a friend who bought a used 6MT 435i that needed a new trans due to 2nd gear synchros being worn out. I believe it is a common problem with the ZF 6MT transmissions BMW uses.
