M240i LCI Interior Trim Removal

Hey guys, having trouble removing the LCI dash trim. Looking to install a wireless antenna to use with CarPlay. I have trim tools, but there are no videos I can find online of how to do it on the LCI dash. I don't wanna just start yanking and break something! Anyone have any experience with this?

Hey so first pop out your center vent trim (use a small trim tool to relase slip clips lol basically just pull it) then use a small trim tool to remove the bottom cover (right above the cup holders) then you'll need 4 torx bolts which will release your headunit and you can throw the antenna behind there after its plugged in! i had mine done at BMCodingNY but its quite simple to do. just look for f22 trim removal videos if you want a visual! Hope this helped!

Haha thanks man, but I got it a while ago, forgot to delete this thread! Also on the F22 LCI only 2 torx bits held in the head unit, and I didn't have that lower trim to pop off above the cup holders on my 2018!
