Eventuri intake worth it?

Hi guys I've been looking into getting a new performance intake for my n55 f22 m235i and have seen lots of hype on the Eventuri intake. But the high price point got me wondering if it's actually worth it. I'm also looking at other options like Injen and BMS intake. Anyone who actually bought and tested the Eventuri intake mind sharing your thoughts?

It depends on what you are getting it for.

It's by far the best-looking intake, so it's worth it if that's what you are looking for.

Performance is the same no matter which brand you go with

If you want to increase sound, Injen is the loudest one

I do not have the Eventuri intake, so feel free to ignore my response. What do you mean by "worth it"? In terms of making the engine bay look nicer, it certainly does that (which is an absolutely reasonable goal). If you're looking for performance benefits, most modern-day turbocharged cars have pretty good intakes from the factory. You can grab a better panel filter to replace the stock version and achieve 95% of what you might expect from an aftermarket intake (more induction noise and slightly better flow).

If you're looking for best performance-for-dollar mods, you'd be much better served looking at an ECU tune or some other bolt-ons like a higher-flowing downpipe (which would still need a tune to really maximize the gain). For these cars, I suggest you replace the stock charge pipe with an aftermarket option before doing anything else. The stock charge pipe is very prone to cracking, even under factory boost.

No. If you want an intake that plays nicely with the DME, get a non-oiled panel filter and the 2016-2018 M2/MPPK lower airbox and call it a day.

But that Dinan Intake

Yea - Panel Filter OR JUST REMOVE THE PAPER FILTER CHARCOAL LAYER FROM THE FILTER or buy the M2 Paper filter (not M235i filter)

.
Not even sure the M2 Box opening is really needed unless tracking. I guess it could sound better. My turbo inlet pipe does allow more noise to be heard (FTP V2)
.
But the Look of the Dinan Intake at $450 is a really added LOOK to the engine bay and works well with the DME. I want one sooooo bad just can't pull the trigger on an intake for the N55.

Garage List
If you go to car shows and want more bling points, sure it can be "worth it."

If you want performance gains, a drop in panel filter will suffice.

Thanks for the info mate. Since performance for all brand is the same, I guess I’ll just opt for other brands that does the same job in a cheaper price.

Great info pal. Any brand recommendations for charge pipe that I can maybe look into?

Saw the Dinan Intake and I have to admit I agree with you. Just go for it mate!

No problem! There are a few reputable brands out there. I'm not sure if your location will impact pricing enough to matter, but I've had the Active Autowerkes charge pipe on for ~30,000 miles now, running more boost than stock and haven't had a single issue. I have a few VRSF products as well, and have had zero issues with them (so I would assume similar reliability for the CP).

Some brands that are popular here are VRSF, ER and FTP. Fitment and quality wise ER has the best to offer I believe, but it's pricy.

I've got the Masata charge pipe on mine though. They offered next day delivery in the UK. The quality is amazing, fits great on the M235i.

As for the intake, I believe the Eventuri intakes doesn't really make much difference performance wise, but yeah if you're after the looks, Eventuri is definitely one to consider.

Sounds great mate. Will definitely consider both brands! Thanks for the recommendations. Appreciate it.

Interesting, don't think I've heard of the brand before but sounds good to me too. What's the price of it? Any idea where I can get more info on this Masata charge pipe? Thanks.

You can get them here, price is £240 inc vat
https://masata.co.uk/products/masata...b043800b&_ss=r

There are many reviews on there too, but if you want to know more you can hit them up, their customer service is pretty good.

I know ML performance have been offering the brand for some time now, had a few friends that got it from them too.

Dianan CAI

Found it for $400 (MBENZGram) and just made the purchase.

.
I guess I am going against all odds here -- If I don't like it -- I will sell it.

.
I think it LOOKS amazing & has to add some sound .

Always wanted one to add to BM3, I/C, DP, Turbo Inlet & Charge Pipes.
.
.
I can only imagine how good the Eventuri Intake would be -- In my mind it is the top of the Top Tier intakes.
