First time using the Michelin pilot sport all season 4s in the snow and they're definitely worth the money. Plus my 235 almost looks like it has m2 hips with the snow building up lol

I was rudely awakened from my morning commute last week by my tire pressure alarm (non TPMS)...

Decided to start monitoring for the weekend and noticed it dropped only 5psi over 2 days. Finally, I soap tested and found many slow leaks along the bead. The bubbles froze before they grew too big but there were spots along the whole rim. It seemed to start with the sub zero nights.

Will try to get the wheel re-seated tomorrow.

Got my first (free) service on my M240 today, service guy liked the rims I had my (Alabama) winter tires on( the PSS are in the shed) and also asked about the PS A4s tires that were on it as well as the P3 vent gage and the Smart Top module function.

Belated but I installed a Rennline phone mount on my 228i a few days ago. Took advantage of the Black Friday sale they had going on.

Installation was pretty straightforward and only took me a couple of minutes to do. The phone mount sits firmly and doesn't wiggle around like the ones you'd see at the auto parts stores or on Amazon. You can easily grab your phone and tilt to whatever angle you need it to be without having to worry accidentally dismounting your phone or even the entire mount itself. The magnet is pretty strong as well and the phone sits perfectly still at all times.

Highly recommend this phone mount to those in the market for one. Just gotta find a good one for my E30.

what a great idea,
who uses that dock anyway and I think it's only for a specific type of iphone as well, if I sell it I'd just put the original part back in

Got snow tires and recovery tracks for my 235 RWD to make sure I never get stuck. Sand is probably cheaper but the tracks are lighter and a one-time cost. It was a nice surprise that my snow brush fits perfectly in the tracks, too.

Love the new armrest and the interior. Makes it even more cozy inside.

I look at that snow brush and cringe at the forseeable scratches...

Sand helps with the added weight in the trunk, it's not a bad thing to have and makes a noticeable difference.

It was a perfect 60° day, so I took the car out for some back roads exercise.

In terms of performance, the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ in staggered OEM sizes are proving to be a very good all-season tire. While A/S 3+'s are nothing like the 255 square Michelin Pilot Sport 4S' that I run in the summer, I think they're an excellent example of how far tire development has come in recent decades.

Received and installed a new set of genuine Coco Mats in a surprisingly perfect color match blending orange, tan, and black, just as the car does!

BTW, those supposedly fragile Oyster leather seats are over 7 years old.

Decided to buy the below for a bit of fun and would have been my first 'mod' but it doesn't even fit! It came from the US so perhaps our 12v sockets are different sizes in the EU.

The US 12V sockets are nominally 0.5mm larger diameter than the Rest-of-the-World 12V sockets, as used by BMW. Normally not a problem when using an adapter with the spring clips that make contact with the sides of the socket.

I have this very button in my M235. Everyone gets a kick out of it.

Got around to replacing the wrinkly iDrive screen in my car. I used a screen out of an F30, so the fitment isn't perfect. Tried mating the old backplate from my old screen but it didn't fit. Probably will have to custom fabricate something to cover up the small gap behind the screen.

Gonna make a write-up about this soon. Just gotta piece together some more information.
