My car has one on the passenger side only.

Does anyone else have these weather strips installed on their cars?

EDIT:
Most people have agreed that the seals have decreased noise in the cabin. The seals are available for as low as $9.45 each.
Left side part- #51-48-7-348-779
Right side part- #51-48-7-348-780

Many have reported that there are other part numbers coming up in a parts search. Order the ones that you like, but the seals with the part numbers listed above will work for the coupe and I assume for the convertible.
My '17 M2 did not have them. I bought them and installed them a couple of months ago. My take? I notice absolutely no difference.
Can I get the part numbers for og m2? Is it the same part numers with others

It's missing from Realoem for the F87 under the trim/insulation/sound insulation drop downs...

The front fender to door areas are similar but not identical, and the part is relatively cheap. Maybe try buying one side to see if it fits?

The M235, M240, OGM2, M2C and M2CS all take the same door seal part number.

I drove for 6 hrs today and didn't even noticed the difference. Myb it's the darn ASD that's preventing me from appreciating it. I don't know if it's the ASD that's annoying me but there's this droning noise that i hate and i think it's that. I hope it's not my catted downpipe.

I turned off asd because of the drone even when it was stock. Now I have catted dp with asd off and no drone. You should really turn off asd.

Having had the parts for nearly two years I finally tackled installing these! After studying the photos that members were kind enough to provide, I squirted the weatherstrip with glass cleaner and, with the door opened, positioned the bulky bottom aspect of the strip down to the door sill in front of the door/fender opening. Then pushed the rest of the strip, working from bottom to top, between the door & fender. As others have mentioned, the first one took a few tries, and the second one went much quicker. Haven't driven to be able to say if it makes a difference - just wanted to add them to the car (2015 228i).

I put some on also. Have not noticed any sound difference(could be because I'm half deaf) but did notice a lot less dirt in my doors now. It was worth it for that!!

Not sure if this mod helped, but I don’t hear any road noise, was it better than before, probably.

I do hear wind noise ever so slightly at highway speeds from the window which is probably due to the lack of window frame.

A bit tricky to install, I wet the area and the insulation to make it easier to manuvere.

long term check in but any of you guys experience any sort of corrosion with this seal on the edge of the fender? considering how thinly stamped the steel is, less paint coverage, and in an area that water runs down, I am curious what the long-term effects have been,

I doubt that it would cause a corrosion problem since it is sometimes a stock part on the F22.
