Should you reverse coding before taking it into BMW for service?

as it says !

I'm taking about a car under warranty, but also not under warranty,
I remember a BMW ambassador once told me "unless" it effected something that went wrong, should not be a problem

I've brought mine in with a tune on it, like you said unless they are going to do an update or the issue is related to a part that was coded they don't really care
