Confused about automatic headlights on my 2016 M235i Convertible

Hi:

I just got a 2016 M235i convertible last weekend. I'm completely new to BMW, but have years of experience with coding VAG vehicles. I have BimmerCode now with a bluetooth adapter.

I'm confused about the (bixenon) headlights. My car has "524 Adaptive Headlights" on the build sheet, but no highbeam assist that I see. What does this actually mean? Also, the "exterior lighting" menu on settings is grayed out.

Is there any coding should consider around headlights, other they eyebrows and DRLs?

thanks,

Dave

Adaptive Headlights means the beams will follow the steering inputs to help illuminate the corners.
