I bypassed the CA and went to a sales manager, who pointed fingers and got things done for me. He took me down to the basement where all the new cars are parked. I got to see the whole basement, and there was my car.

He introduced me to some of the guys who will be doing my PDI. They congratulated me and said no problem, we can get this done today.

Thu pickup was all just a BS thing to cover their asses, as most dealers do. But yes, I very much respect the sales manager, and will write good reviews about him. I like people who talk less and act more.

Like Supernaut said (on another thread), you have to sometimes raise your voice to get things done, and I did.

I wasn't in the mood to post yesterday, after reading some pretty nasty responses (from some unknown people) to my dealer thread. I was like - this ain't worth my time, you know ? On top of the car tracking crap, I didn't need any more negativity, esp from complete strangers who mean nothing to me.

Anyway, our little bunch of peeps are the coolest folks around, and I won't be deserting y'all anytime soon

You know you the overwhelming number of people are supportive/sympathetic/empathic of your plight. (Not to mention appreciative of all the support and advice you've given.) It's reassuring to hear that someone else at your dealership stepped up and did the right thing.

I could go on about the nerve of someone telling you not to post--a post that originated with you, no less--but no point. Now you can bask in the warmth of knowing you'll be behind the wheel in just a few short hours.
