Dinan springs, bump stops and spacers...
Left my car this morning with my friends over at Foreign Affair Motorsports in Pompano Beach, Florida. They will be installing Dinan's lowering springs, bump stops and spacers from Burger Motorsports. Followed up with an alignment of course. I have been interested in doing these upgrades for ages and cannot wait to get the car back. Also curious to see how much negative camber I can get with this setup.

Not a cheap job, takes all day and needs an alignment when done. Spent well over 1k but you gotta pay to play. Especially if you want things done right the first time.

That's what I don't get; I grew up in Honolulu and lived in Los Angeles for a couple years and all the speed shops charged between $300-$450 for spring installation. I've had 5 cars done at these shops and never had an issue with any of them. I can't imagine paying $1k to have springs installed with a $100 alignment

For those that had the Dinan springs and ride kit installed, what has been your overall experience since installation.
Are you happy with the setup? Is the ride any harsher that stock (comfort vs sport)? Is there any noticeable improvement in roll or any other detail? I will likely only track once or twice a year for fun and not seriously. Just looking for more street fun. BTW, Elite V2 will be on the way shortly as well. Thx |

For someone who still wants to comfortably drive the car on a daily basis and see moderate improvement for not a lot of $$, I think the Dinan setup is a good solution. YMMV. DBinOC |

Are you happy with the setup? It is what it is, at times it sounds like the whole suspension will fall out in a 3 yr old car.
Is the ride any harsher that stock (comfort vs sport)? Not in comfort, sport... Even SP+ is less stiff than a m2. Is there any noticeable improvement in roll or any other detail? Yes, I will likely only track once or twice a year for fun and not seriously. Just looking for more street fun. You shouldnt have bought this than. BTW, Elite V2 will be on the way shortly as well. i dunno wtf that is
