Laser Jammer Install

Hi all, new member here. Working on my radar detector install first but next will be a LJ install. I have a 2018 M2 DCT. Looks like getting wires through the firewall will not be an issue as it appears there is a rubber grommet where the clutch pedal goes. However, anyone know where a good power source is in the cabin? Maybe under the dash or passenger side? Any recommendations? Thanks

Check under the glove box in the passenger footwell. There is usually a 12 volt power socket up there like the one you have on your dash

Thanks that would be ideal. I am new to BMW but checked and just see the floor light and heat/ac vents. Does the glove box release or do you have to remove?
