Estoril Blue M235i with APEX EC-7 wheels.

Estoril Blue M235i with APEX EC-7 wheels.

APEX was lucky enough to have a brand new BMW M235i in our facilities for a photoshoot. We felt our EC-7 Wheels in Race Silver complemented the Estoril paint job and looked right at home on this car. The bodylines to the M235i are smooth and transition so nicely; shooting and lighting this car was fairly easy with our overhead Chimera lightbank. From the owners perspective, it was amazing to see their car in a studio setting. The lighting highlighted the body lines while creating natural shadows that can be seen sweeping across the side of the car. Based on the excitement in the room while the car was being shot, we could certainly tell the owner was very pleased with their new purchase!

Specifications:
Car/chassis: 2014 BMW M235i
Wheel model: EC-7, Race Silver, 18X8.5” ET45 Front and 18X9.5” ET58 Rear.
Tires: 235/40/18 Nitto NT-05 front, 265/35/18 Nitto NT-05 rear
Suspension: Factory
Camber: Factory
Ride Height: Factory
Spacers: None, but depending on tire brand 3mm or 5mm spacers may be required at the front of the car to clear the factory struts. It's tight in there!
Fenders and body modifications: None, but again depending on tire brand and ride height, you may need to slightly alter the inner fender liners in the rear in effort to accommodate the 265's.
Brakes: Factory M Performance Brakes

YES! 265 tires in the back....more pictures please!!! Would love to see how flush these sit with the fenders to see if rubbing is a possibility when the car is lowered. Are these wheels available in a 19" model with the same offsets?

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer a 19" option in these offsets, but it is something we are looking into.

Here are the profile shots showing fender clearences.

Glad you approve of the Race Silver finish, We thought it complemented the Estoril Blue perfectly.

Wow, is that ever perfect in terms of offset. Not too much, not to little and a heck of a lot better than the stock stance. Great job guys!!!

Anthracite and Black photoshop please!

Really like how the 265 tires fill out the rear... I suppose there are no rubbing issues front or rear?

Cost?

Have your ARC-8 wheels been installed with a 265 tire in the back yet? Would love to see pictures side by side. I also read on another forum that you normally do a group by in March or April? Is that planned yet?

not bad at all, I style of wheel on this car, they look a little small from the pics but I have a feeling it would look better in person

Cost? Group Buy?

Anyone adventurous enough to photoshop the side shot with Anthracite and Black variants of this wheel?

Dear APEX people. Please, please, please consider developing PS-7 sizing for the 2er crowd. While I think this thread's wheel is good looking and the sizing perfect, your PS would suit the car better. Would "pretty please" do it??

Anthracite looks great!

Question for you, Apex. Anything about the Nittos NT-05s' profile that allows them to fit or should most 235/40/18 fronts and 265/35/18 rears fit okay?

Thanks.
