I just got an '18 230i convertible. I just wish the top would fold down a tad bit faster. Also the seatbelts are soooo far back. It makes it pretty difficult to reach sometimes.

When I open the door with the top and windows up, the window only cheats down after the door has started to open. It should cheat down BEFORE the door starts to move, so it doesn't snag on the top.

If there are drive-thru cups in the cup holder, I always punch them going into first and fifth...

For the price of these cars is unbelievable that the remote control doesn't even has a panic button. Not even a beep when locking or unlocking the doors because the car doesn't have a deterrent or alarm system (Dealer said).

Is a Deterrent or Alarm system part of a specific package?

Your car is a 14/15? The panic button and chirp after locking was added in 2016 and on.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. I can shuffle my USB connected old iPod touch via the regular idrive controller. I can also shuffle my BT connected iPhone XS via the idrive controller.

Reading through this thread and noting that the majority of these issues are very minor makes me very happy with my new '16 m235i

I love almost every aspect of my M2C.

But why o why did they make the rear view mirror so damn low??? (yes because of the KAFAS but WTF!!)

In a tight right turn i just can't see where i'm going to because the mirror blocks my view...

....WTF BMW!!!

Same thing with the driver's side A-pillar. I'm getting tired of leaning forward to see where the car is going next, or if there's a pedestrian hiding behind it.

Interesting, it was apart of the alarm which was an option for the 14-15 and should have been standard on 16 and on. Seems others have had a confusion about this on the forum as well.

Couple of things for me just picked up my m240 on Friday but no digital speedometer, no auto unlock when I turn car off and radio stays on when I turn car off and open drivers door unless I hit off button again or lock doors. I love the car though!

You can program (via settings) a large digital readout of your current speed in the center of the gauge cluster, as well as basic door lock/unlock preferences.

Apparently a lot of people hate having to read an owner's manual to learn about the car's features.

The radio off when door opens is also available through coding.

Guess you didn't read that thread you started the other day. Auto unlock needs to be coded using esys, Bimmercode, or another app. While you are at it, you can also code head unit off with ignition off.

The gray fuel gauge needle is a bit hard to see in flat light.

I have my music on an external 500gb hardrive in the armrest, I can only see that a shuffle/random play function is available on an inserted cd.

The seats are uncomfortable after an hour of driving. Reminds me of bleacher seats.
